This training enables an individual on site to confidently direct vehicles safely while avoiding any accidents. It covers the diverse duties a traffic marshal may undertake in the public arena such as events, parking and security. Since 1998/99, vehicles at work continue have caused an average of 61 fatalities each year as well as over 2150 major injuries. Many professions and sectors of the UK economy now require employees and contractors to undertake traffic marshal training to ensure compliance with the Health and Safety at Work Act.
